Amazing Machine in Budget.

Interceptor is an amazing machine made by Royal Enfield. Buying experience was great. Got the bike in a week from GT karnal, Royal Enfield. Bike is refined and no vibrations because of twin cylinders. With aftermarket exhaust it roars. Servicing is not expensive too and maintenance is not on a higher side as you need to get your bike serviced in a year or 10000 kms. Average is around 20-30 kms per litre according to your riding style. Bike is just a bit heavier when pulling or pushing the bike but in this price this thing does not count as you are getting amazing power, refinement, great service from RE, low maintenance machine.

That's an amazing experience to get home a royal enfield and it's even more excitement for me to get on to an interceptor 650.Considering the ride quality ,it's a fun to ride with an amazing power and seating comfort. The brakes and the suspension to works brilliantly on tough roads which doesn't make us feel tired on long rides. The decent and stylish looks of this 650 gives an image of the perfect indian cruiser. The performance itself is the most relaxing part about the cruiser for the customer .It's the re which has unique way of service and maintenance and it's not an issue to afford a bit expensive service and maintenance for such a wonderful and relaxing rides .It's the riding comfort ,braking ,suspension and the power of the vehicle which occupies the top notch in the pros of the vehicle where's the headlight technology ,exhaust performance and the use of too much of chrome on the body can be considered as minute cons in the interceptor 650.

Very competitively priced. Power delivery is very linear. The bike comes alive upwards of 4000rpm. Very easy to ride at slow speeds. Handling is spot on. The suspension having been designed by Harrisons performance is phenomenal. Cornering is spot on. The pirrelli phantom sportcomp is very grippy on smooth than roads in dry and wet as well. Not good on loose gravel and ruts. Breaking is very good. It's designed as a retro 70's classic. Hence looks can be subject to perception. 47Bhp and 52 Nm is not very impressive for a 650. but is adequate for Indian roads. Overtaking is a breeze. One doesn't even need to down shift. I have been achieving a fuel economy of around 25kmpl, which is very impressive for a 650. Service and maintenance cost is quite reasonable. The only con I can think of is poor electricals/ electronics. Royal Enfield has cheaped out on it.

The bike is amazing

Rohan
The bike is a really value for money and the ride is smooth as butter and there are no vibrations in the vehicle. Yes there is a little buzz in the top end but we need that much of such a big vehicle. The design is pretty simple and old school. It is a classic bike. Maintenance costs me around 3k. There is only two cons. Emits a lot of heat in traffic and is heavy.

Interceptor 650 - retro styled beastie beauty
5 years ago

Royal enfield interceptor 650 very gorgeous looking retro styled bike gives amazing riding experience with much power, smoothness and great braking as abs standard, i have many royal enfields like standard 500, machismo 500, continental gt 535 and himalayan but new 650cc is quite premium among all and gives vibration free riding experience in any condition as well as in long tours.

Common man's rich cruiser .....The interceptor 650

Best bike at 3 lakhs.

Love it. Nothing less if there's nothing more. Really don't know what else to say. The riding experience hits you at a different level. The showroom employees were very welcoming and a little jealous. Looks absolutely gorgeous and I've taken the mirrors out , i'll give them to you when buy the best.

I bought this bike after awaiting for 2 months, initially I thought it is heavy and difficult to handle but after 1 hour drive I was like ohh god.. it was heaven. I did not check mileage, and coming to the engine it produces so much of heat. waring shoes are must while driving long. I really love this.
