The Gixxer SF is Suzuki’s most affordable fully-faired motorcycle. It has been launched to target the growing needs of India’s young buyers who want something stylish and feature rich at the same time.
Suzuki Gixxer SF Colours & Design
Currently, the Gixxer SF is available in three colours - black, red and blue. These colour options go extremely well with the bike’s sleek design language. The overall design silhouette showcases a bit of aggressiveness but also isn’t too flashy. The highlight of the bike is how Suzuki has been able to manage to include a comfortable riding stance on this sporty motorcycle.
Suzuki Gixxer Mileage & Performance
Suzuki Gixxer SF is an everyday motorcycle, so it has to be fuel efficient as well. The bike returns something between 35 kmpl and 40 kmpl which is decent for a bike this size. So, with a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres, the bike can be ridden non-stop for around 400 kms. This Suzuki gets its power from a 155 cc single-cylinder fuel-injected motor that produces 13.4 bhp and 13.8 Nm. This engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Suzuki Gixxer SF Specifications & Features
The Gixxer SF rides on telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear which comes with a five-step adjustable feature for damping. In terms of brakes, the bike gets disc brakes at both ends and also gets a single-channel ABS as standard. Compared to its predecessor, the Gixxer SF is almost 8 kgs heavier at 146 kgs. When it comes to features, this bike is equipped with a full LED headlamp and tail unit, digital instrument cluster, clip-on handlebars and split-seats.
Suzuki Gixxer SF Alternatives
The Suzuki Gixxer SF goes against the famous Yamaha YZF-R15 which is sportier than the Suzuki. But when it comes to displacement and price points, both bikes get very close to each other.

Budget faired Sports bike

If you want a faired bike then go for it. Parts and services are not available everywhere and the resale value of these sports bikes is not good but this bike is a beast in this segment. The engine is reliable punchy and refined, you will find it fun to drive with this on special highways. Bike maintenance is also higher than other bikes in this segment but take a test ride to clear the requirements you want.

Awesome journey is going with Gixxer SF

I have been riding a Suzuki Gixxer SF for the last five months and covered around 5500 km so far. My overall experience and observations -Superb handling — Very few bikes, in my opinion, can match Gixxer SF’s handling prowess. You will have to ride it to believe this machine’s handling capabilities. Even when you are riding on roads filled with potholes, you would be able to handle the bike with ease. The chunky tires are super sticky and you can deal even the most challenging corners with confidence.Power — On paper, the bike might give an impression that it is low on power — 15 BHP — when compared to Pulsar AS200, RS200, Honda CBR, Yamaha R15 etc., but once you twist the throttle and the engine starts grunting, you will realize that Gixxer SF is pretty powerful for a 155 cc bike and is probably, one of the best bikes in the 150 cc segment, in terms of power.Comfort — Gixxer SF does not vibrate even at top speeds. I rode it at 125 kmph and did not feel any vibration! That speaks of the volume of comfort the bike offers. You can ride it at a stretch. However, the pillion seat is really uncomfortable and could give you a sore butt.Mileage — Taking into consideration the fact that Gixxer SF is a performance bike in its segment and an excellent sports-tourer, it delivers an impressive mileage of 40–50 kmph within city and 50–60 on highways. Definitely not a bad figure to complement the bike’s 12 litre fuel tank. And yes, riding between 50–60 kmph and in fifth gear within the city will always deliver a satisfactory mileage.

The best sports edition bike in the budget segment
3 weeks ago
Mohammed Naseer Uddin
Let's start with the design, absolutely gorgeous, and the handles are in a very comfortable reach. Performance is good for the segment but the torque could have been more punchier. The fuel efficiency is really good with mine giving around 35 to 40 km/ltr. The only real downsides are the stiff suspension and the shockingly bad service center.

It is difficult to maintain

I would suggest that instead of buying this, it is better to buy a bike which has fewer plastic parts because it looks good but when you go to get it repaired, then an outside mechanic will not be able to do any work in it. That's why my experience with this bike is not that good Instead, buy a bike that has minimum plastic parts like a Yamaha

High risk of falling in love with this bike. The red one is like fire. Mileage is good (32 to 40 kmpl). The best part of the same is comfort. You may ride with three but comfort comes in a single one. In the same line, you may go wherever you want, but wear a helmet and maintain the safety rules. Don't be a Chapri.

Comfortable for long rides

Sunil Mali
Some say the Gixxer SF is comfortable for long rides and has good ergonomics. However, others say the seat may be firm for long rides and the rear seat is not very spaciousThe Gixxer SF has a 155cc fuel-injected engine that provides quick acceleration and responsive power. It has a top speed of about 130 km/h.

Pro'sLooks wise it is the best one Beating is very smoothYouthful Bike and very stylishThe seating position and Handling are awesomeMileage is coming around 50Con'sPerformance is not up to mark as its Torque and RPM are a bit low (it affects pickup) compared to other bikes which are available around the 150cc range. After 70km speed felt hard even after 5400km was completed. which I don't like and gears are struck when you suddenly stop in traffic and at U-turns. It was a very bad experience I never had such a problem with other bikesDisk pumping(double disk) in high-speed control not working properly breaking the road if you are above 5.10'' in height you will feel Knee and shoulder pain(it's my personal experience I am 6.0'')Also observed some display issues in the speedo meter. each point contains 2 ltr oil but sometimes it's suddenly going down. informed a mechanic he is saying that it is a controlled system so it's behaving like that. last but not least Bikewale please highlight this point we are not finding skilled mechanics for BS6 model bikes even in the authorised service centre they are not doing proper service as they are not properly trained. they are also scared if they do something and it may be affected somewhere because of chip-based software. just doing show work is affecting bike performance. there is a lot of knowledge gap in mechanics. if anyone wants to buy this bike do a test drive on an open road not in traffic. go 70km speed and try disk pumping(double disk to control speed)then you will find real performance. if you go 50 defiantly will definitely be smooth.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 2024

Guys don't purchase this bike, totally waste.. always has some starting and battery-related problems in it and heating issues also. sometimes it runs really smooth but the rest of the time it runs like a commuter bike. it only looks good and the mileage is good. There are also some weird sounds coming from the bike and the rear brake is not that good..the gearing is also hard, and the front suspension is also very delicate. It's just been a month and the bike already has many problems. I'm really very disappointed and regret buying this bike. The purchasing process was also very troublesome and bad

Gixxer SF Review
Suraj
1. Purchasing the Gixxer SF was a breeze. The dealership staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They patiently answered all my questions and guided me through the paperwork. The bike was delivered promptly, and I appreciated the hassle-free process.2. The riding experience is decent only when I ride it alone, but whenever I ride my bike with one pillion in the back it feels heavy to control. Moreover, making U-turn with this bike is somehow not hassle-free. I feel uncomfortable during long ride.3. The Gixxer SF wears its sporty fairing proudly. The aerodynamic design looks cool. The LED headlamp pierces through the night, and the alloy wheels add a touch of aggression. However the performance is not at par with the size of the vehicle. It looks bulky but feels like I am riding a 110cc bike.4. The bike requires high maintenance. Within just one and a half year, I had to replace the fuel pump. The chain sprocket makes noise just after 20-30 days of servicing. The service centre experience is somehow good. Oil changes, chain adjustments, and brake checks are done promptly.

Tips for other riders
Make sure to change engine oil on regular intervals. Apply oil on the chain to avoid noise. Don't open the mirrors to the full extent while riding, otherwise it will create problems to nearby commuters on the road.

Don't buy this bike. I owned this bike since 2023 only 1 year old and 7500 km driven bike both sides' disc plates are damaged. I am very disappointed from Suzuki. After the first service, my bike engine tappet is noising. The front brake is awesome but the rear brakes are not good. When I suddenly broke my rear tire skidding. Don't go for this bike.

Suzuki bikes are worst, except scooters. Gixxar is a under powered bike and mileage will decrease after a while. And maintenance is ok, but spare parts are little expensive and hard to find.155cc bike have at least 14 to 15 hpBut it gets 13hp. And mileage will get 48kmpl at starting after 2 months or 4 months it give around 40, so worst bike ever. The thing to love about this bike is the tyres and just the looks
