TVS Old Generation Jupiter 2013 Price in Khambhalia

I bought the Jupiter Zx Drum Bs6 OBD2 model in March 2023 for around 95k rupees. Am writing this review in August after using it for 5 months and this scooter didn't meet my expectations. The showroom experience was good but the service centre experience is quite bad. Showroom staff promised us that it will give 'Real' Mileage of 55-60kmpl while TVS company claims 62-64kmpl and we bought it because of mileage only but this scooter gives me mileage of 44-47kmpl only and when we tell this to the services centre, they tell that we can't do anything in that and it's excellent mileage almost every owner gets this only etc thing. Another main problem was the scooter's side panel started getting dull in 2 months only when we complained about it they got our panel changed for free but the same issue started again in 1 month. This time they recoloured the whole panel and till today the issue has not occurred. Another problem is that for 3-4 days I did quite a rough usage of this scooter and noise started coming from its suspension. So overall I think it's your preference to buy it or not but definitely, it's not value for money according to me and it definitely has less power than Activa and Access.

I heard about Jupiter is a nice bike and more specious reason why I wish to buy it. I ride on my friends bike it was very comfortable and price of the bike is also quite affordable. Now I am searching dealer in Rajkot, Gujarat from where I am belonging to buy this bike. The main advantage is space.

1. Buying experience is good. Received scooter on time. PDI is ok.
2. Riding experience is good. Daily commuting for 30kms(15 +15) in heavy traffic.
3. Very stable, getting 55 kmpl mileage, good braking, good suspensions, headlight intensity is not enough but reflector is good, the engine kill switch is not provided, fuel lead cover is directly fixed with fuel tank plastic part.
4. Sevice of tvs is very poor. Mechanics and service advisers are properly trained. Maintenance cost is around 500 per 2000kms and 1300 at 12000kms.
5. Pros. 1. Riding quality (stability and comfort) is good 2. The material used is good. 3. Mileage is good. 4. Easy double stand 5. Good storage space.
cons. 1. Fit and finish are not good. 2. Fuel lead cover is fixed directly on the plastic tank, risk of damage due to the weight of the fuel filling nozzle. 3. Due to the absence of an engine kill switch and auto-off facility one has to stop the engine by key only. In this case, I experience wearing out of the key head after 10k and trouble in on/ off operation. 4. Headlight properly focuses on the road but the light source intensity is not enough for heavy traffic road.
* request to ask for warranty conditions before delivery, as the company is not providing a warranty for all parts of scooter. To get a warranty for said kms it is compulsory to take after-sales service from tvs authorized service center. My experience with the service centre is not good.
* Download the service manual from the website to maintain your vehicle.
* engine and gear oil need replacement at 2k kms.
* clutch roller needs replacement around 18k. ( 24k mentioned in the service manual ) it depends on riding conditions.
