5000-15000 km

Got mileage of

55 kmpl

The lightest of all scooters until 2016, the tvs jupiter is my first ride I've ever bought. It's far better than a honda activa, in terms of mileage, looks, durability. It has allow wheels!....It has metal body, compared to fibre on activa. But at one region it lacks behind is the fuel tank capacity......It has only 3.95 l of tank....Compared to 6 on activa. Various colour options.Servicing is fine and as usual...Costs usual. I've done long distance rides from chandigarh to delhi and back...Without any problems. The seat is comfortable and wide. It's manoeuvrability is very nice. If you scratch it or get the side body get scratched, the cost for repaint is high as hell, and the emblem costs around 300-400.It's top speed is 85km/h.It sound great and throaty at higher speeds, compared to jet engine like sound on an active. It is less customisable compared to activa The alloy wheel is very strong, even stronger than those on ktm motorcycles (i believe)....Because on my way to kurukshetra, i was speeding around 70-75, and went on to a pothole of about 70 centimetres in diameter...And nothing happened to allow not to the suspension. The rear suspension is considerably on softer side...The reason can be it's made for city commutes and not for long rides perhaps. The best colour available is matte blue for standard version. Now you can get the classic jupiter's in two brand new colour schemes. I prefer the brown over creme colour. You can get risk brakes on the schedule models and the millionr model. The headlight does decent job is pitch dark roads.Mileage is 45-55, depending how you ride.It has a hide under seat compartment(bigger than activa). If you won't wash it regularly then it's black dashboard colorado can get faded. In a nutshell...If you hate activa, this is the best choice for you, (other than value for money).I hope all of your questions are answered here....So thanks guys....

Tips for TVS Old Generation Jupiter 2013

after a wash, polish the dashboard with 1:15 mixture of oil:soap and water...to keep it pitch black and never let it fade. don't use a seat cover, as it may hinder the locking/unlocking of the seat and also the comfort can get levelled.

The buying experience very amazing and exciting Riding experience is very good and the suspension is very very good Looks are gorgeous and the performance are best mileage is amazing Servicing and maintenance are lower than the others No are cons in my point of view Pros for mileage
The top end of the power band leaves you disappointed with the Jupiter 125. The scooter takes a while to push between 60-80 kmph and feels out of breath once you've crossed the 84 kmph mark. While most owners won't do those speeds all day, those looking for performance may find this a little less

When it’s new it is too comfortable but when it’s old we face many problems with their body parts.
The scooter impresses with its stability and handling too, while the refinement levels are right up there. It also gets a segment-first gas-charged rear mono-shock. The Jupiter 125 gets the largest under-seat storage capacity on a petrol scooter at 33 litres. And that's ample space to store a lot more than knick-knacks.

  • TVS bad option

    Nilesh

The performance of the Pickup vehicle isn't as reliable as advertised. Despite numerous features, only a handful function properly. Initially, I encountered starting issues that were eventually resolved, but recently, there's been a recurring problem with the side stand sensor. If the sensor malfunctions, the scooter fails to start. Unfortunately, the service centres have been unhelpful, often providing misleading information and overcharging for their services.

Worst brand ever to buy because of the aftersales service. My new bike was a breakdown in one month after buying & when I called the call centre they took too much time to connect with the workshop. The TV workshop is like a local garage. No standerd procedure for repair. . Also buying 125 Jupiter is a crime as the parts are not at all available in the service center.
