Tvs jupiter is kind of scooter which is better than activa and hero maestro any day but before buying this consider two things

1) is service centre ok

2) take a test ride of suzuki access 125

Because jupiter is ok if you like it

Because what happen with me is that 2 years back their was older model of suzuki access was available and that was ok in looks for me that's why i had gone with tvs jupiter ... But at now access is better than jupiter according to me ..

But never go for activa 4g it sucks really ...

Great bike for city ride. Very less maintenance required. And very good condition after 2 yrs also. Great mileage of 40 kms in city.

I have used this bike for 2 yrs. Self start and air drum breaks are awesome to use. Very comfortable sitting for 2. And great space under the seat. Leg space is also very good.

Brought this bike for dad considering the ease of riding as the normal gear bikes wouldn't help him at later ages. Buying experience was smooth and the associates deal with you very friendly and help you make a better judgement based on the requirements. The transactions went smooth and hassle free. The associate stays in contact and informs about the due dates and timely to-do actions.

Well coming to the riding experience, i stopped using my gear bike and started using this bike for all purposes. Some may feel that looks wise, a gear bike would add more charisma but this one is an exception. The bike is good for all occasions and gives you a feel of ease. The vehicle has good ergonomic body and balances the weight easily. The body is strong and comes in shining colours. Though initially the vehicle doesn't give good mileage, but on usage would gradually pick up and give an average of 45kmpl.

Servicing is also hassle free and the showroom doesn't charge you over prices. Being an Indian brand, the spare parts wouldn't cost you much too.

The vehicle is a best competitor for all the gear less bikes in the market and gives a smooth drive experience, with good body balance. And a decent mileage. The mileage depends on the mode in which you are driving. The economy mode would give you the best mileage. On the whole, the vehicle is a good one for the present times.

2) riding experience: very good (in scooter segment). Better comfort, easy handling. Cool riding (than any other scooter).

3) details about looks, performance etc.:- great look, 40-45 mileage, good pickup. But self start issue in cold weather

4) servicing and maintenance:- ok. Service of dealer is good. Maintenance is same as other scooters

Better ride quality, good look, good performance (as i have drive it 13,000 kms only i can share my experience till 13,000 kms only)

Pros :- no major issue but self start issue in cold weather.

I viewed a few places including retailers and showrooms and i prefer to go to a retailer as u would get better price there. Although u can apply for a test ride at a showroom and then buy it but trust me it is not a scooter needing test ride. All u need is to buy it and experience its ferocious power and ride quality . I bought it in 2016 and till then i have just ridden 4500 kms approx. But i have ride almost every main road in kolkata. And if u r looking for a family scooter it is the one. No other company prefers such a comfortable seat with minimum jerks. When it comes to.Looks i have stallion brown one the zx edition and till date i guess it is the best. It offers a nice sporty look with superb engine sound and average fuel consumption. Service is quite friendly and good as we get 5 free services . But its parts availability is rare i took me 3 long months until i got.My broken left rear view mirror replaced but didn't cost much but only original can be set in the place . Altogether it is a nice friend for me and my family.

verdict -tvs had worked hard in their jupiter model and made it the best scooter in the market . It has a little high price but all its specs worth it . If you are going to have this scooter for the rest of your lives it is the one true friend you are looking for with little flaws but nothing is perfect. Thank you. I never wished to replace honda with tvs, when it came to select my second scooter in the family. Surprisingly it was the good experience while walking through tvs showroom. Waiting period makes product more valuable but in my situation, i needed a good scooter to commute so i chosen tvs jupiter delivered by the next day and truly it became worth the product. I commute on daily basis and once in a quarter mumbai-pune as well.

There are pros and cons which i wish to share.

Pros:

1. Better acceleration: even it's not a 125cc segment still manages to deliver smooth and better pick-up

2. Breaking: dual braking helps to control heavy speed on highway ride, gives better stability and confidence (now even option for disc brakes)

3. Suspensions: front telescopic shock absorber and rear gas filled suspension allows your ride very comfy and smoother

4. Built quality: as the body parts are metal material it doesn't noise on bumps

5. Height: seat and handle bar height ratio is just perfect even for 6ft tall person to make full turn easily

6. Space and accessories: large boot space allows my mom to roam in the market hassle free! nothing makes better than it. And even big luggage bags can be fitted between leg space

6. Alloy wheel: black alloys comes in 12 inches both rear and front which looks absolutely stunning in this scooter

7. Basic features: automatic headlight on option + headlight passing button + mobile charger connectivity option

8. Colour options: various colour options as well as variants available in this scooter. Matte colours also available which i preferred

9. Maintenance cost: cost of spare parts are almost 25% lesser than honda. Also maintenance cost is lower on the side

10. Looks: the scooter have great ergonomics which allows both men and women to buy this scooter, the tvs jupiter!

Cons:

No such cons regarding product but service advisers could be better trained to find a defect/problem to get the necessary work done.

I am completely satisfied with this product of tvs.

I have bought this scooty for the purpose of going to college and my riding experience was very good it is very smooth in riding and its shockers are very good than other scooters.On doing full tank of petrol it gave an average of 52km/l its body is very good and it has eco power mode which facilitate that whether we are running slow fast. Earlier i was having mahindra duro scooty ,it was also very nice scooty but it got very old.Jupiter's top speed is 100km/hr.My suggestion is that it should be purchased than purchasing activa.

Amazing durability with very good mileage. Look is also stylish for young and old generation. Very law maintenance and budgeted moped/scooter. External fuel tank so that you fill up directly from pumping station. Pick up is also very good after 2 person seats comfortably. Speedometer has two function one is for eco mode and second is power mode by which you can drive safely.

My buddy who stood each and every time he fell(cause of me). Tvs jupiter is an amazing scooter with can withstand the hardest of the terrain(took it for a long ride of upto 700km), not even once in these years i faced trouble with it. Long rides are very comfortable with it.Met with an horrible accident but yet this beast survived and running till now after few surgeries from mechanic, not even a single trouble faced after that.Purchased tvs jupiter zx on march 21 2016 from solar tvs bangalore, hospitality of the dealer was good.Servicing from tvs service center is the thing i prefer, they even call after a week to ensure the proper service, their customer service people are much proficient.Though it requires a minimum maintenance, please follow the proper service period.
