Reviews of TVS Old Generation Jupiter 2013

First of fall I buy Jupiter classic
So you can easily relate me with that Hey Jupiter classic one!!!
I bought it in 2019 and after a year it's started on a daily basis
You have to give at least 2000-5000 every month to maintaining
Riding experience is terrible
Don't go for any Jupiter one, please
It has battery problem, wiring problem, metter problem, petrol tank problem
And it's body is made up of fiber with give it more difficult to handle and small accident will stop you from riding
Its wiring has a serious problem. please understand this
If it's self is not working then you are in great trouble because Kick has no role in Jupiter
If you want fun in your life then only buy Jupiter otherwise go for Activa or any other scooty
I have faced many problems with Jupiter l

I bought this jupiter in february 2014 that time waiting period after booking was 6 months ,so i received it on time no issue.Since that time i am using this bike & i am happy with its riding experience as i daily run it for almost 20 km still after three years i am getting good mileage and performance. Look wise its great with new different many colour option. I am doing regular servicing of the bike and maintenance .With god grace in three years i have not a spend a single rupee on my bike related to maintenance.

Now regarding pros & cons.

Pros.

1. Good millage.

2. Available in many different colour.

3. Good space between leg & main handle.

4. Higher wheel with more ground clearance.

5. Major advantage for me is, it has external fuel filter so i don't have to get down while i refill fuel tank

cons.

1.Engine is not so powerful like other competitors in this segment.

Jupiter is my fourth scooter after bajaj chetak, kinetic honda, honda activa 2012 and now Jupiter. Without any doubt i can say that Jupiter is the best automatic scooter i have ridden ever. It's ride quality is exceptional. Well built and looks good. Nothing to complain about mileage and storage space. Lovely engine sound and attractive colours adds it's appeal. I got good service from the dealer ramkay tvs adyar chennai. Activa succeed only in case of engine. But still Jupiter's engine also smooth ...Refined. ..Has power. .. I am fully satisfied with my scooty.

I bought millionar edition about a year ago after a little research, the scooter is good in looks and performance and with under 110 cc it is powerful enough for city riders. Mileage i am getting is 45-48 kmpl

Pros : looks, external fuel filling, good luggage space and leg room.

Cons: no digital display, no trip meter, no side stand warning

When i thought to buy a scooty... Firstly i would purchased activa 125...Then my friend told me that jupiter is much much better than activa..Then i purchased jupiter...It rides like butter on chapatti(flowsssss)....

Comfortable riding seat...Light n good pickup.. Headlight glows sharp..and grey colour looks very sexy

Tvs jupiter sales team at the show room were friendly cooperative Bike is very good for city ride and very comfortable due to the big seats and ample leg space.External petrol filling option is one of the key advantage of this bike other than style and balance. The additional glass frame in front give it a classic look The only issue with this type of bike there are easy ways to open the petrol tank and seat lock pulling the cable below the scooter.Easier for thieves to steal the petrol specially when left in parking near stations.

Buying experience was quite smooth no extra paper documentation lengthy process. Riding experience is very good and brake system is very good. Look wise also it's stunning and performance is also very tough.With regards servicing concern it's fabulous and maintenance cost is very less. Only it's little bit heavy weight for ladies new user No cons as of now.

Owner of tvs jupiter since May, 2018. Comfortable seats. Riding experience is good in city. Problem in rough roads. Self start problem if not used regularly. Headlights are ok. Indicators are good and visible and indication sound is also noticeable. Good quality tubeless tyres. Old tyres are still on. Braking is decent. I apply both brakes simultaneously. Cornering is ok but stay alert on wet roads. Gear box oil drain locking bolt is missing, waiting for it. Service center people are helpful. Daily commute 40 kms approx. Mileage around 50 kms per litre. Under seat storage is good, a half face helmet would fit easily. Good quality switches. Pillion seat is comfortable and spacious. Design and style are good. For avoiding scratches steel body guard is necessary.
