Reviews of TVS Old Generation Jupiter 2013

Purchased the scooter a month back and have been loving every moment of it. Very pliant ride with no undulations on potholes, speedbrakers thanks to the telescopic suspension at the front and those 12 inch tyres at the front and back. Smooth like a butter compared to my old activa which was a workhorse but not a joy to ride. Has a large 6 ltrs petrol tank with a 21 ltrs under storage, both larger than activa. Have done 1st service recently and no complaints with the service either, however, compared to the honda, the service centre set up and manpower was less impressive. May be this was for the specific dealer i went to. Overall a no nonsense buy and very satisfying experience.

I have purchased Tvs Jupiter in November 2020 but I have not received original Rc till 15/3/2021. Please give Rc immediately. Looks are very nice. Very good ride. Service is very good. Very nice scooter. Very good for driving. Please give Rc by the earliest possible. Scooter styling is very good. Maintenance is expensive. Buying experience was very nice. I am extremely grateful to Tvs for giving me this scooter.

Stylish, smooth, and reliable scooter. Has a good under-seat storage space, even after not being in use for many days, the day I started the bike it started immediately. Mileage is excellent in city conditions. Low maintenance cost. I like the performance and looks but am only not happy with the low resale value of this bike.

1) The buying experience is great
I have directly gone to the authorized showroom of TVS and selected TVS Jupiter 2018 model..
I made a payment with cash overall showroom boy convinced me to buy this scooter.
2) Riding experience - third class buying experience very jerky and vibration in tvs Jupiter.
Problems will start within 2 months after buying this.
The heating issue is the most disaster in this scooter.
3) by look it is okay not to bad not too good but as I can say it is okay.
Performance wise it is just garbage which is just produced by TVs
4) TVS service is just average they are making customers fool for service.
When I told them about my scooter problem they said it already comes in every scooter.
Overall it is just worthless scooter.
Don't buy it guy's.

3) Sound issue
4) Headlight weak
5 ) The full body is not made up of plastic/fiber

A) Look wise is better than Activa
2) Mileage is better than Activa

Its style of walking is excellent.

Its brake is great.

Its seat is very long .

It is very comfortable scooter .

When i ride a Jupiter, i think i was walking in the sky.

Its royal wine colour is very interesting .

Its price is very good not very costly.

It is very lighter scooter.

Its weight is lighter, it is easy to carry.

I bought this scooter exactly 1 yr before. Immediate attention caught by the scooter is knocking sound from engine and sudden loss of power while riding scooter thought it was brand new scooter. I brought that to service center and got it serviced. Service person informed me about the oil issue which results in the knocking sound and sudden loss of acceleration power. Honda engine is much refined compare to jupiter.

After changing oil issue still persist. Tvs mechanic informed me its due to new engine now.

After 3 rd service i meet with another buyer who was experiencing similar issue and he informed me to get the engine checked as he is also getting same serviced done.

When opened engine carburetor was filled with water which resolved sudden loss of power issue of scooter.

Knocking sound of engine remains issue with the scooter.

Overall i would say tvs needs to visit their service centers for spot checks and integrity as i find one of service station pumping oil from the drum to tvs oil bottles and using drup oil to refill the scooters which are left for servicing at service station.

Surprising and unacceptable service stations...

I am done with my 5 free service and now i am doing my service at nearest petrol station with shell scooter oil and my scooter works better than before with less noisy engine.

Pros - good product

Cons - bad service centers, knocking sound and acceleration power loss, engine is not as refined as honda.

Its have great average and comfortable ride its wine colour is also looking good and attractive and its have fuel nob outside of the trunk so its easy to fill when there is ladies with u there is no trouble for them to get down at fuel station and its have great suspension its give more comfortable ride than any other scooter i love this scooter

Feel it drains more petrol

The power in scooter is great .

The rats make the wiring damage and scooter doesn't work and maintenance increases

Over all the Jupiter is best
