Fz x is my first ever bike, the comment on the internet was so horrible for this bike but I went to check it out anyway and fall in love with the design and exhaust sound.
I rode it almost every day and even went for a long rides and offroad on weekends
Had done 4 times servicing and they fixed the hard gear shift
Pros- best mileage of 45 -50 on city rides
    Good posture no back problem
    Various way to modify
    Cons- overpriced
    A big speedometer is a huge turn-off
No visor from Yamaha had to buy from the local market
Trust me it looks a lot better with a visor from re 650 twin.

  • Fz x is not only for young but can make anyone young

    Venkatesh

At age above 50, i have had a great youthful experience while riding this bike. It gives supreme confidence while riding on empty roads or in thick traffic. Great for commuting. Suspension solid. Ground clearance just adequate. On smooth roads, it is like driving a car. Very slick. For my age, moving in and out of parking matters a lot and it is very convenient. Mileage not less than 50 i suppose. Best buy at this price. For those old souls hesitant to go for re bikes or forward leaning sports models, i suggest this bike to enjoy the best of both worlds.

Just go to the Yamaha showroom and watch it with your naked eye...Photos do not justice this beauty...It is modern retro looking bike with good specifications. Yes the raw power is slightly underwhelming but it will not affect your daily commuting experience. The bluetooth connectivity is amazing. Just go for it..

  • Premiere comfortable retro bike in its segment

    Sudeep

Performance is good with 149 cc
    Buying experience is quite decent
Riding is comfortable alone and with pinion
Coming to looks it has premium quality parts of Yamaha that is Japan's technology.
Performance at low and middle end is excellent but not top end & Yamaha pricing is valuable as mt15 & r15 are 155cc but costs more in segment.
Pro- mileage, bluetooth, charging, retro look
Con- gear shifts is bit decent, not sports bike for speed
Overall verdict- daily commute, comfortable ride, unique stylish retro bike, good mileage, refined engine, reliable for years

  • A happy fzx costumer

My 1st bike and it's literally beyond my expectation. I wanted to buy a bike with a retro look royal Enfield 350x was my choice but the budget was the issue and then this beautiful gorgeous-looking bike was launched. I am falling in love with yamaha fzx, great look, beautiful body with a modern touch and the mileage woo la la. 45 - 55 kmpl is the average millage, and on a long drive, I get 60 kmpl. Yamaha fzx is so comfortable to sit on, I am very very happy to choose this bike.

I bought this bike in orange color in sep 2021. And it was too good to ride for the long drives also in the streets.
The bike has a good look, especially the front lights, but the performance is not up to the mark, and the mileage and the battery performance are very worst.
Within a 7month duration, the batteries become dead. Also, there is no kicker in the bike with no battery power made me crazy.
Customer care services also will not take care of the battery issues.
The hope on the yamaha has been broken and there is no value for your money.

Its not a worth bike at this price because it comes with 12 Bhp power in 1.40 lakhs. I have request to all please compare first' then buy this bike.
There is much better option in 1.50 lakh apache RTR 2004V bs6 with riding modes it comes with 20.5 PS power, suspension, riding, modes, adjustable, clutch and brake, slipper clutch, bluetooth connectivity more..

  • Affordable Dual Purpose Ride

    Shilajit Saha

    The Buying experience was good.
The riding experience is great. The view it gives to the rider feels visually awesome.
In looks, even after 8 months, I get asked about the bike...
The initial punch is great till 80, but after that loses the crunch. The top-end definitely feels a loose struggle but hasn't gone above 113 kmph. Got a riding weight of 75 max. The suspension for solo is stiff but with a pillion feels soft enough for the broken roads.
Mileage is around 48 50 (you get more on the highways. Brakes are well enough for lighter off-roading, and on highways can grip fine upto 40.
The headlight is something that needs to be worked on. The range is low and works great only in pitch-black darkness.
The servicing is good and the bike definitely needs servicing after 2 months for getting the punch.
Overall, it a great for a daily commute and long rides. Can ride easily for 5 hrs constant.

    Harikumar K P

Riding experience: superb but in wet condition too bad because the dirt and mud thrown from the rear tire lands on the back of the driver's body.
Mileage: I regularly get 60 plus mileage on a full tank. I am very happy in this regard
Battery& Bluetooth: the most disappointing things are battery& Bluetooth. Eight months after purchasing the vehicle, it started losing charge of battery if the engine was not switched on for two days. Later the bike had to be pushed and started. Replaced the battery once. But after two weeks there was starting trouble again. When it was shown to the showroom, the charge of the battery is destroyed due to the Bluetooth device and as suggested that if it is removed, the starting problem will be avoided, the bike is being used after disconnecting the Bluetooth device for a month. After that, there was no starting problem.

Pro- mileage, bluetooth, charging, retro look
Con- gear shifts is bit decent, not sports bike for speed
Overall verdict- daily commute, comfortable ride, unique stylish retro bike, good mileage, refined engine, reliable for years
