Yamaha r15 is very great bike in terms of looks. The riding experience also is very good. The power is also good bit in terms of engine. Yamaha should think about this model of R15. I think yamaha should upgrade its engine to reach out for as many people. As a rough racing rider he/she should need a better engine for racing. Although the bike is excellent and I love it.

Let me just put out the cons of this bike:
    1. Radiator fan stops working after 1 or 2 thousand kilometers
    2. Valve or vva starts making noise after 4-5k kms
    3. The aftermarket accessories made by yamaha are very poor in quality like the seat cover, frame slider useless products.
    4. This bike ain't for the hills, people living in hilly areas don't think of purchasing it.
I'm from Gangtok and this bike sucks. When u are riding upwards it fails to provide power, when u are riding downslope, your hand and back hurt like hell.
So, that's my honest opinion about the bike.

  • My journey with r15v3

    Amardeep

It was the year 2018, my pulsar had completed 15 years, so I was looking on the net for a new bike. When I saw it for the first time, an arrow of love went across my heart, although it had some shortcomings, in spite of this, I bought it and thought whatever will happen will be seen, the only drawback was only the headlight and riding position.
Today is the month of 2021 September and today I am claiming that there is no match for it.
I have taken it on the hills, on the highways, and on the rough village roads, but its performance is amazing, although the riding position is so aggressive that it hurts in the back but the performance is such that this thing is forgivable, I do exercise continuously to keep me fit to ride my love. So that I can run it for a long time, that's why I am fit because this bike is for the youth, so today I am also fit because of it, thank you for this.
Good mileage, superior performance, looks, good reliable engine make it a clear winner wherever you go. This is my journey with r15v3

Less maintenance, beast driving experience, need to improve in pickup but best in 155cc, the fiber is better than V3 mileage bike, easy, affordable, value for money. In V4 we can track & street mode which benefit us in highways Finally at last bike is awesome.

The mileage is very good and totally worth it. Servicing and maintenance cost is also low. It is also good for long rides. R15 v4 is the best choice because it has traction control which gives you the advantage of easy-to-bike control in turning areas. Quick shifter is also the best part of it. There is no other bike that gives quick shifter and traction control in 150 cc dimensions.

I set my eyes on the R-15 as soon as I began searching for my first bike to purchase, and safe to say it hasn’t let me down. While being of the 150cc segment, it gives great performance is smooth on turns and has little to no vibration at higher RPM.
The transmissions are effortless and quick shifting is also a handy inclusion. The brakes are just right and VVA kicks in at 7000 RPM, really getting the bike into full flow. As a beginner, it is more than you could ask for, in terms of design and riding satisfaction.
I’d recommend the R-15v4 to anyone looking for a sports bike that is relatively economical yet undeniably stylish.

My journey:- there were days when I pasted superbike pics on my walls but yamaha made my dream come true by launching r15 but i did not have money to buy it.
But, when i got the job and the same year r15v3 launched and I owned r15v3 with my hard earned money. I already have good experience but when i first saw this v4, literally, i fell in love at first sight. I went to the showroom and booked it. The day has come when i shall meet this beauty in the showroom. The first thing I did was I kissed it and brought it home. After some formalities at the showroom.
Riding experience:- r15v4 is just awesome machine on road, on highway it behaves like a superbike after vva activation. Also with the slipper clutch it just like muahhhhhhhh.
Looks:- no need to say about the looks. Believe me guys, whenever you ride it, kids, ladies, senior citizen and everyone will turn their head and you feel like a celebrity
Servicing & maintenance: - I also told that i have own r15v3 and its maintenance is quite low servicing around 1000-1200 last and new v4 is just like that. Quite low maintenance and servicing network make this bike affordable to every young man dream
Mileage- at these days of rising fuel price of 110 per litre , it gives you a big relief by giving mileage of around 50km/l , if ride around 70km/l without harsh riding. If you ride harshly, it will give you 35-40 km/l.
Riding position- it pains less than the previous v3, as the handle bar is raised a little, so n-joy
Pros- good mileage, killer looks, head turner ability, super bike feeling, lots of features, low maintenance, reliable engine what more can we expect
Cons- not meant for family purpose, little aggressive

  • Predator that rules the road

    Amardeep Singh

    Kartik

Yamaha r15 is very great bike in terms of looks. The riding experience also is very good. The power is also good bit in terms of engine. Yamaha should think about this model of R15. I think yamaha should upgrade its engine to reach out for as many people. As a rough racing rider he/she should need a better engine for racing. Although the bike is excellent and I love it.

  • Disadvantages of v4

    Manjeel Rai
