The 2022 Honda CBR650R has arrived in the Indian market to rival the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja 650. The mechanical specifications retain the BS6-compliant 648.72cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine that is linked to a six-speed gearbox and produces 85.8bhp at 12,000rpm and 57.5Nm of peak torque at 8,500rpm.
The 2021 model retains the styling cues of the 2021 model and it continues to feature a twin-pod headlight, fairing-mounted rear-view mirrors, a full-fairing design, a muscular fuel tank, split-style seats, and a compact exhaust canister. The 2022 model is available in two colours – Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
The feature list includes full-LED lighting, an LCD instrument cluster, a dual-channel ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), Honda Ignition Security System (HISS), and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) technology. The six-speed gearbox benefits from an assist and slipper clutch.
The hardware on the 2022 model comprises a steel diamond frame, 41mm Showa Separate Function Big Piston front forks, a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock, twin 310mm discs at the front, and a 240mm rotor at the back. The motorcycle tips the weighing scale at 211kg (kerb).
The ARAI mileage of Honda CBR 650R is 23 kmpl.

CBR 650R VS Z900

As a fellow biker who goes on a Sunday ride, this bike is absolute perfection. Took my friend’s bike for a spin and let me tell you from the sound the feedback of this bike is fabulous. It is a well-built machine the way it manages its weight, the smoothness is unbeatable. People compare it with z900, but this one oh lord! very forgiving very nimble and very stunning.

Really amazed to own this beautiful beast. The buying experience was wonderful, as bigwing honda have put on a lot of efforts to impress their customers. Due to their kind and continuous follow-ups and their best approach toward customers, the buying experience was simply awesome. Being a 650cc segment bike, it is best suited for mostly leisure rides and occasional commutes. The looks are extremely amazing as it has taken down the design language of its previous elder sibling ( cbr 1000rr).The service experience is good as the bike is ready as promised per the given time by the service advisor. As it was the first free service hence no more details could be provided.Pros:1. Best looking 650cc bike ( personal opinion)2. Being a product of honda, it's blindly reliable and extremely refined.3. The inline 4-cylinder engine does not struggle to keep up good speeds on the highway for a longer duration of time.4. Gear transmission is extremely smooth once the rpm meter reaches the appropriate marking.5. Pillion seat is charmingly comfortable.Cons:1. Limited service centers 2. Cost of spares are comparatively high.3. Colour options are limited in India as compared to European and global markets.4. Extremely costly bike when compared to its competitors
