With the 2024 iteration, KTM bestowed the 250 Duke with the biggest-ever update. The motorcycle received changes on all fronts which promise to make it a more engaging and a more desirable quarter-litre offering than its predecessor.
The feature list of the 250 Duke now includes a ride-by-wire throttle system, a slipper clutch, and a quick shifter. There’s a 5-inch LCD too which is Bluetooth-enabled and offers turn-by-turn navigation. Accompanying these goodies is a new bodywork which is more similar to the flagship 1290 Super Duke than the previous model. The front fascia looks more sinister and radical, the fuel tank section is muscular with sharper extensions, and the new die-cast aluminium sub-frame makes for the tail section.
KTM also completely redesigned the engine of the 250 Duke. With a newly optimised cylinder head and gearbox and a larger airbox, the 250 Duke is claimed to be more potent than before. As a result, the power and torque output numbers have also witnessed a marginal hike. Now, the 248.7cc, liquid-cooled engine of the bike produces 30.57bhp and 25Nm and continues to be mated to a six-speed gearbox. Furthermore, the cycle parts of the bike have also been altered. It is underpinned by an all-new steel trellis frame that joins an off-set mono-shock, a curved swingarm, new 17-inch alloys, and new brakes all of which are lighter to facilitate the bike with a better power-to-weight ratio.
The 2024 KTM 250 Duke will be available in two colours – Electronic Orange and Ceramic White and official bookings for the bike for Rs 4,499.

Awesome Bike

This bike is value for money. The pickup was brilliant. My experience is very awesome.I suggest this bike. The KTM 250 Duke has evolved into its third generation, and it's gotten all mean-looking. And with that, it has also matured as a motorcycle with rider aids that were previously only restricted to the 390 range. Not that the 250 Duke needs them, but it now becomes more approachable and manageable for a rider graduating from the commuter class. It’s laden with features like a bi-directional quick-shifter, dual-channel ABS with a supermoto mode, a 5-inch LCD instrument cluster with a 4-way switch cube, and then some more stuff, which we will get to in due course. While the price has gone up marginally over the Gen 2 model, the bragging rights have certainly gone up by leaps and bounds. This bike is value for money. The pickup was brilliant. My experience is very awesome.I suggest this bike.

Absolutely stunning bike. Most refined 250cc engine in a Duke. Great features. Lower seat height at 800mm to accommodate most riders. Textured seat for better grip during braking. Good enough instrument cluster. The Underbelly exhaust looks good. Headlights have a great throw. The new taillight design has a fresh look. 15L tank capacity with a 3L reservoir is really nice.

Trust your KTM service centres and do not service your bike with a 3rd party unless they pro at what they do.

This bike is amazing because at this price it gives huge power that's why I like this bike and its looks is beyond imagination it's just osm. It provides very good service also but maintaining this powerful machine is not very easy means if you are from a poor background then you will have trouble maintaining this bike because its maintenance is a little bit costly.

KTM 250 Duke

The buying experience was good, and the riding experience varies from person to person. Maintenance is a bit high. The Duke 250 is an impressive entry-level motorcycle that offers a great combination of performance, style, and affordability. With its sleek design and sharp lines, it's sure to turn heads on the road. The 248cc single-cylinder engine delivers a healthy dose of power, making it a fun ride for both beginners and experienced riders. The handling is nimble and responsive, making it perfect for city commuting and spirited rides through twisty roads. The instrumentation is modern and easy to read, providing essential information at a glance. The overall build quality is solid, which is expected from KTM. However, some riders might find the seat a bit firm for long rides. In summary, the Duke 250 is an excellent choice for those looking to step into the world of sporty motorcycles without breaking the bank.
