The lightest of all scooters until 2016, the tvs jupiter is my first ride I've ever bought. It's far better than a honda activa, in terms of mileage, looks, durability. It has allow wheels!....It has metal body, compared to fibre on activa. But at one region it lacks behind is the fuel tank capacity......It has only 3.95 l of tank....Compared to 6 on activa. Various colour options.Servicing is fine and as usual...Costs usual. I've done long distance rides from chandigarh to delhi and back...Without any problems. The seat is comfortable and wide. It's manoeuvrability is very nice. If you scratch it or get the side body get scratched, the cost for repaint is high as hell, and the emblem costs around 300-400.It's top speed is 85km/h.It sound great and throaty at higher speeds, compared to jet engine like sound on an active. It is less customisable compared to activa The alloy wheel is very strong, even stronger than those on ktm motorcycles (i believe)....Because on my way to kurukshetra, i was speeding around 70-75, and went on to a pothole of about 70 centimetres in diameter...And nothing happened to allow not to the suspension. The rear suspension is considerably on softer side...The reason can be it's made for city commutes and not for long rides perhaps. The best colour available is matte blue for standard version. Now you can get the classic jupiter's in two brand new colour schemes. I prefer the brown over creme colour. You can get risk brakes on the schedule models and the millionr model. The headlight does decent job is pitch dark roads.Mileage is 45-55, depending how you ride.It has a hide under seat compartment(bigger than activa). If you won't wash it regularly then it's black dashboard colorado can get faded. In a nutshell...If you hate activa, this is the best choice for you, (other than value for money).I hope all of your questions are answered here....So thanks guys....

I have been using this vehicle since 4 years and i have never faced any serious issue about this. These days only the suspensions are became little jerky after using 25000 km. And other one is i had to change the rear tyre only at 3000 kms and petrol tube got damaged itself so many time it is little disappointing I used this for little long journey like approx. 150 km a day. Riding quality, engine response, breaking experience is very good compare then other its companions. It has no lake of power at any stage. Rider will fill so confident while riding. One more thing is it vibrates till speed of 60 kmh bt after that it became smooth. It is giving mileage of 55 kpml at road and 50-52 at city.Seats are so comfortable, vehicle is safe for riding. It looks so bold. Its big headlamp give it extra boldness and its unique design and sound gives it extra attention on the road. In my city (pithora) there is not any proper service point is available. This vehicle's maintenance cost is cheaper than other .Overall this vehicle is best in class. If anybody is looking for scooter go for it with any other queries and tension.

Hi i have ridden my jupiter more than one and half year. My scooter has clocked 13000 kiss. I bought this bike for a change. My first preference was honda activa. But i compelled to buy another brand because of long waiting period for activa. So i decided to test drive all popular scooters and i was mostly impressed by tvs jupiter. Now i am very proud to be owned this fine scooter. according to my personal experience the plus of jupiter are 1. Power and performance. Very smooth engine. No vibrations even at higher speeds. Excellent pickup. 2. Quality and reliability. Jupiter is a strong vehicle. It has advanced rigid chassis. Strong body and very stable design. Not a lightweight scooter. Can use for long years. 3. Ride and comfort. Ride quality is excellent and comfort is top class. Bigger alloy wheels with tubeless tyres at both ends, advanced telescopic suspension at front and gas charged mono shock suspension at rear are big advantages jupiter. It has synchronized braking system. In terms of ride quality honda activa is a biggest disappointment. Horrible suspension makes it outdated. Here jupiter is miles ahead of activa. 4. Mileage. It gives me a decent average of around 50kmpl. Its eco and power indicator helps to attain better fuel efficiency. 5. Maintenance. Jupiter is a low maintenance scooter available in market. It requires regular service. Spare parts are cheap and readily available. Wide service network is a big plus. 6. Good road presence. It's sturdy design makes it an attractive unisex scooter. People of any age group can drive it easily. It's best value for money family scooter available in india now. minus. 1. Pillion height is comparatively higher than other scooters. So short people may feel difficult to access rear seat. 2. Average looks. 3. Indian brand. Many people blindly believes in foreign brands. For them it may be a disadvantage of this wonderful scooter. 4. Jupiter has a wide range of features. But it lacks features like digital meter, led head lamp, side stand indicator etc. overall the best 110cc scooter in india. True value for money product. I am fully satisfied with my jupiter.

  • Detailed review of JUPUTER and is it compatible for long rides, its mileage and more.

    Abhishek

Purchasing the vehicle: it was easy and the staff was very helpful at Patel TVS Surat. I got the base model for 65k-69k rupees including accessories worth Rs2.5k(optional)
Riding Experience: ride quality is very smooth.
suspension is too good even on very bad roads.
easily hits 75kmph without pillion rider and otherwise takes a little more efforts when with a pillion rider.
also don't expect anything above 90kmph from the scooty because just no it wont unless you are on a downhill but honestly don't stress the scooty to do more than 80kmph!, it begs you not to!
It has hardly been 20 days since i purchased this scooty and i have already done 2200KM on it,yes i know its a lot in such short time that too on a new scooty.
the main purpose of me getting a vehicle is that i can use it for daily commute and take it on occasional trips, which is a success. for the first 700km i rode the scooty under 55kmph speed as was told to me(manual says 50kmph for 1000km) then got the scooty serviced and got things cleared with the mechanic. as soon as the 1st service was done, me and my friends took off for a long 520km with a pillion rider i got a mileage of 42kmpl with constant speed of 60-70.
Me being on a scooty and my other friends on their bikes, we worried if the scooty could keep up but to my surprise the scooty did an amazing job. even with a pillion rider and Extra luggage since a scooty can accommodate i was cruising at 70-75kmph speed continuously for almost 60km nonstop without any issues. and on a solo trip of 260km i got a mileage of 48kmpl at a constant speed of 75-80 (i covered 260km in 5 hours !).
for the well being of the scooty do take 5-10 min stops every 50km or so.
looks and design:many people told me the scooty looks bulky which it actually does but it is very light to ride and feel.
do not try concerning on this one or any scooty for that reason. because on either sides of the scooty is something that's to low or popping out like one side is the stand and the other side its the engine itself. i once corner to low with a pillion behind which caused the side stand to scrape.
performance:the power feel comes after 60kmph till 80kmph,this is a very nice range because if you want to overtake a truck on highway this power and pull helps a lot,80kmph and then onward it won't accelerate. it has a punchy pick-up speed which allows you to manoeuvre in the city traffic with ease.
brake performance is also very nice for that it being drum brakes just keep them tight also learn your brakes properly before speeding your vehicle.
service and maintenance:after the first service i didn't feel much difference they only Changed the engine oil(310rs) and after 1200km that is after the 510km trip the throttle response declined below 50kmph speed which i got checked at the service center and they cleaned the air filter which did the job. overall the scooty ace's in all aspects. when compared to its rivals Jupiter is the best in fact it's better than many 125cc scooty.
Pros: 12 inch tyre which is good for stability on high speeds and otherwise also.
    amazing suspension.
    very smooth ride quality.
    very small turning radius.
    pass light .
mileage is great at 56kmpl in city.
    very comfortable seats.
Cons: not many but maybe if a few things could be different:
design should be in favour for cornering.
    little more power(because why not)
rear foot pegs should be in a different position.
should have had a mobile storage space or pouch.
i also recommend the drum brakes version because ultimately the disk brake will lock the wheels easily and cause you to skid where as drum brakes are a bit laggy but do the job.
i know many would say disk is better even i thought the same but after using it i can say drum is better on scooty but i don't know how would the drum brakes perform in rainy season.
if you are planning for a scooty then yes i would definitely recommend the Jupiter over the Activa 5g. in fact Jupiter is almost the ideal scooty in the scooty segment.so don't hesitate and go for it.

I have used for last one year... Super acceleration Power pick up is really good In high way it comes with 53-55kmpl. Self switch issue is a big issue on it Over my experience it is a good choice. Seat is wide and soft As other tvs bikes the headlight is also very good I made run about 14000kms and not ever need to change or repair for punctuated.

    1. Buying experience was good i bought this 2 years back with easily.2. I am riding daily towards my office and home...Handling was awesome easy to drive and after 2 years it still started in one self. I have ridden on rainy seasons also it work really awesome. The main things it has 12 inch tyres in front and back which gives great stability.3. Looks is really awesome like other scooter it don't have much fibre body. Jupiter has a strong body which gives it a stunning look and performance is really good it catches speed in little acceleration. Goes likes zip zap zoom awesome to ride. I have ride other scooty also but my first choice is tvs jupiter because of it awesome handling.4. Service experience was good because i don't feel any problem in maintenance. It has very low maintenance cost compare to other scooters and bikes.5. I don't have find any problem with tvs jupiter till now love my jupiter.

This rakhi my dad and brother wanted to give me something special. I recently joined medical college. So distance from my college to home is more than 20km. I needed transportation. So they gifted me the tvs jupiter. It was my all time favorite. Now i can drive daily to my college. All my girl friends were amazed by her looks. It was a fabulous day. Riding is so smooth that i can't feel jerks on the road. Performance is tremendous i can easily get 0 to 50 in 8 sec. For me it is superb. Looks are to die for. Simply beautiful. Mileage excellent in one litre i can easily drive 60km. Which is for me money saver.Unlike other mopeds. Don't have to ask my dad for extra pocket money.Service is very easy cause it's my first service after all. Needed to change oil and other mandatory configuration.Pros: time saver, efficient, stylish, light weight, extra petrol filling compartment. Con: body is made from mostly fibre glass material, body length is less, less color variants.

With the jupiter, fuel efficiency aside, other characters of the engine like the level of refinement and power delivery are still trademark jupiter, which is a compliment frankly. Tvs had struck the perfect balance between affordability and aspiration when it comes to 110cc scooters. Not only did it offer a supple ride and features that were once first in the segment, it was also priced competitively. Suited for daily goings.Best scooter you can find on market, which is cost effective and economical.

I have bought tvs jupiter in 2017 and it's amazing earlier i owned activa and let me tell you guys it's way better than activa due to it's high ground clearance, mileage, riding experience and the most important thing it's an Indian brand. 14000 kms and still i am getting the mileage of 42 to 43 in bangalore traffic. The servicing is also better. They will treat you like you bought this scooty yesterday.

  • All your questions on tvs jupiter are answered here!!!

    Aashirwad Tripathy

    B P Nadarajan

  • All your questions on tvs jupiter are answered here!!!

    Aashirwad Tripathy

    B P Nadarajan
