The Maestro Edge 125 is the flagship scooter from Hero’s stable that sits above the Destini 125. Unveiled during the 2018 Auto Expo, the scooter shares its underpinnings with its 110cc version, the Maestro Edge.
The Maestro Edge 125 is the first scooter in India to feature fuel-injection technology. On the features-front, retaining the existing features of the Maestro Edge, the 125cc variant gets additional equipment like semi-digital instrument console, textured seat and a signature LED lamp on the front apron. It is also offered in a new variant that features a Bluetooth-equipped fully-digital instrument cluster, full-LED headlamp and a few revisions to its styling to make it look more aggressive.
The scooter draws its power from a BS6-compliant, 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor that is capable of producing 9bhp at 7,000rpm and peak torque of 10.4Nm at 5,500rpm. For cycle parts, the scooter comes with telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear, while braking is done by drum brakes at both ends with an option for a disc for the front. The system is equipped with Hero’s Integrated Braking System.
The Maestro Edge 125 is available in as many 14 different colour options. In terms of competition, it goes up against the Suzuki Access 125 and the Honda Activa 125 in India.

When I first wanted to buy a scooty I directly went and bought Maestro Edge 125.It has a great sitting position and it gives me very excellent comfort while riding,it has a very big seat and it can easily accommodate 1 rider and 1 pillion. It has very specific awesome looks and the cutting-edge body is mind-blowing even though it has a plastic fibre body it looks like a beast inside. It has great power and very good breaks and good suspension.I rode it in all kinds of road dirt and even took it for off-roading it's a bit difficult but it didn't bother me much. I bought my scooty in December 2019 and even now it gives me almost 50-60km per litre of petrol. The service is also very easily available for this scooty and it's very low maintenance.I recommend buying this if you love scooties.

Avoid buying.

The buying experience was very nice. Scooter vibrations are way more than any scooter. Engine performance reduced in these past 3 yrs of riding. The looks are nice. But the service was very poor in rural areas. Parts are not available at authorized service centers. Avoid buying in rural areas.Fiber parts are cracking in headlight part

Terrible experience regarding spare parts
2 years ago
Sanjay
I own maestro edge 125 Fi model purchased in 2019. 8 days ago I found the acceleration cable is broken, so I went to a local auto garage for replacing it. When he took that cable out from the scooter, he said the cable is broken in the middle from inside the plastic casing. That is a weird thing which has happened. Then he searched the cable compatible for that model in a showroom/service center & spare part market in a city in shirpur, but he didn't get there. Then he searched it in whole of dhule (Maharashtra) districts showrooms /service center of hero & local auto parts shop. Even there he couldn't get it.Then I took the vehicle to local authorized service center & asked for repairs. As the part was not available there they said to wait for atleast 8 to 10 days to do the repair work.To sum up here, don't buy this vehicle. Hero & their service centers are not competent & capable to give the services required.you can imagine for only an acceleration cable I had to wait for 15 to 20 days & experience harassment also.So don't buy.

High maintenance bike
Nibu Cherian
The only complaint I have is this bike is a very high maintenance vehicle. Parts are expensive than other bike parts. If a mirror is damaged then you need to change the complete mirror, other bike mirrors can be tightened with a screw. The most annoying part is if you lose your key, you cannot even make a duplicate key since it's a anti theft bike and you end up loosing almost around 3000 to 5000 rupees to make a new key.
