The RE Continental GT is the lightest, fastest and most powerful Royal Enfield in production! It is a part of the cultural phenomenon that has simply refused to fade away - the cafe racer!
    PROS
Its all-new double cradle frame design makes it a bike that urges you to push harder and harder. As for the quality of the ride, the Paioli twin rear suspension provides it all. The Sport Demon tyres by Pirelli along with Brembo brakes combine to give you a solid feel in the corners.
The clip-on handlebars and the rear set foot pegs give it a very sporty riding position!
    CONS
The only thing that lets down this bike is the number of vibrations provided by its 535cc fuel-injected engine. The engine head oil leakage is one minor problem !(almost all the RE's face it !)
As for the finishing quality; it is arguably acceptable.
    FINAL STATEMENT:
Now look at the brand names you have in the pros section and then look at its price! At a price of around 2.10 lac it is a phenomenal package available.
Even the die-hard RE enthusiasts didn't expect this. This is a machine with a story, built with a painstaking collaboration.
The bike is hailed by purists, loved by rockers and is the bike you'll have the most fun on!
Yeah, this is how good the bike is!

Unique cafe rider bike and mainly chrome Mr. Clean looks unique on the roads and Power is an amazing and affordable 650cc bike in India that must be only gt650. The exhaust note sound is very nice and it makes me ride my bike often and more importantly, good service is done in Royal Enfield. I prefer gt 650 over a Kawasaki because the service cost will be higher as i had a Kawasaki z250

  • Retro charm

    Aditya Dhanraj Phukan

First of all i would like to mention that if you are someone from 90s then you would definitely like the retro charm of this bike it's not a bike but a piece of beauty from the late 90s but with a bit of modern touch. As for the details the bike has a nice roar in its stock exhaust which is sufficient with the bike's persona. As for the performance it gives the best output and feels like it will go for more when you put throttle to max, but the best part is that it's for the ones who wanna enjoy the ride as it's braking ,power are at the best as for the brakes they are tuned with bosch abs system which is best of a kind. The best part is the custom parts as most of the people are not satisfied with a stock bike so re is offering customization for the gt as well as the interceptor and people don't have to depend on aftermarket accessories anymore.Being a 650cc it's maintenance is very reasonable and not that costly which the imported bikes charges. As for the ridding experience it's for the ones who wanna feel the ride and even though it's a cafe racer you won't have any back issues which is a problem with other sports bike if you want to use it for daily purpose then also you won't be having any trouble because the engine is so refined that it doesn't feels like you are riding a 200 kg bike but the only trouble is with the tube tyre if you have a sudden puncture but if you think about that then there was a time when tubeless tyres were not available so it's not a bit deal after all. And you get a centre stand as optional in accessories . Overall if you are someone who wants power with a retro looks and want to have a memory of a lifetime the it's a great deal because this bike will be with you in your old days as well cause it's all metal with little plastic only thing is that if you maintain it properly it will have the showroom looks and the colour will not fade which is a problem with plastic . Everything is upto the mark with this machine only thing is that you care for it and it will never put you down

    Tips for other riders

    * Don't do any aftermarket modifications doing that will ruin the bike. * Proper service will keep the bike in perfect condition and the servicing periods are mentioned on the book itself. * Lube the chain when it gets dry. * Don't put LEDs it may affect the battery life. * Don't let the petrol tank get empty as it's a fi engine. * There's a DIY on the bike on the official channel of RE YouTube for simple jobs. * When you purchase the bike put the big guard as it will protect both the tank and engine instead of the short guard which protects the engine only.

  • Best buy in the segment

    Rohith

The buying experience was really easy as there were no much options available for the bike, I brought the clean color and believe me its the best color a bike can get. Riding experience is fine but the position need to be somewhat difficult for a 5'8 feet guy to ride, the amount of power it gives when you ride is unexplainable, coming to looks its not upto the mark, but believe me this engine is a beast, no other engine in this range is refined as much as engine is refined. Don't expect much for the maintenance and service as you have the higher quality the higher the charges, the service is somewhat on the costlier side, maintenance is ok my bike is giving around 18 km/l which is good for a 650cc beast.

    Anviraj Shetty

It's just a monster when comes to the performance..yes the 390 is just a little better in initial pull but once u up the 3rd gear then there's no catching this bike..I personally ride it almost 130-150 kms a day and I'm used to its riding position, so I don't find it difficult..the road presence is just marvelous. I'll definitely give it a 10/10.

Good bike and it’s a value for a price, you won’t get any other 650 parallel twin-cylinder cafe racer bike one negative thing about this bike is the fuel gauge doesn’t work properly it shows an inaccurate fuel indicator, gt is a cafe racer segment bike and never compare other segments bike with this bike. In the initial days, you will feel the heat from the engine but later after 1st service you won’t much heat, in city rides, you will feel the heat but on the highway, you won’t feel the heat. The braking system is good in gt. While you riding at 6000 rpm you will feel like you are flying with wings in the air. Overall nice bike but need to improve in electronics

Buying is a bit higher as compared to a bike, but riding is so powerful still a bit less comfortable and more powerful. The engine is well furnished, looks big, and the exhaust is also a little loud, service depends on your city and it costs a little high, and spare parts are also for average people, the instrument cluster looks retro more than alright.

  • Why you should buy continental GT 650

    Yash Raj

The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is a charming and capable bike for those looking for a retro-styled cafe racer that doesn’t break the bank. It’s a great option for new riders or those who want something stylish and easy to ride. While it's not a high-performance powerhouse, it offers an enjoyable and relaxed riding experience that's hard to find in this price range. If you’re looking for a modern classic with a nod to the past, the Continental GT 650 is worth considering.

My buying experience was not very exciting as a waiting period of more than 6 months and also could not deliver with all accessories as ordered.
But my riding experience is very good. I have been touring (600+ km a day) for 3 years and had issue only with punctures. Till now no technical/mechanical issue faced with the bike. On highways, it sticks to the road and completes the balance.
The only challenge you may face is with riding posture, which I get adjusted after a few rides. The other minor issue is with headlights, which are not very effective.
